The Drama Jocks’ SportsCast #39: Super Teams

On this week’s podcast:

  • We re-cap the last-minute deals that went down in MLB and what they might mean for the teams that pulled the trigger.
  • An assessment of NBA “super team”: a new regime, or a fad that is sure to die?
  • As training camp opens, which teams in the NFC North might be feeling Super?
  • Shaq always fancied himself a “superman.”  This movie proves he’s definitely not a super actor.

Enjoy the show; thanks for listening…

The Drama Jocks’ SportsCast #35: They Want Billy Martin

This week on the sports cast, we cover the current state of the Twins (still on top, but some chinks in the armor) and the Brewers (improving, but still a lot more to prove).  We offer an assessment of the all-star status for these teams and others…

Not to mention World Cup soccer and NBA free agency.  It’s one helluva full-hour Drama Jocks.  Enjoy!

The Drama Jocks’ SportsCast #33: You’re Not a Blogger If You Didn’t Write It

On this week’s show, I get a Twinkie update from Josh, wherein we consider the power of Pavano’s mustache.  Meanwhile, the Brewers managed to go an entire week without another dip in the rollercoaster– they haven’t been remarkable, but they seem to have… steadied.

Of course the NBA Finals went to 7 games, and yes, naturally I didn’t make time to watch the USA in World Cup action.  After all, I’m an American.

Thanks for listening, as always.

The Drama Jocks’ SportsCast #29: The Big Fifteen

This week, Josh and I go over the latest offerings from our local baseball teams, including a question of whether or not the Brewers front office will grow a pair and call up some bodies from AAA.  We give our review of the NBA and NHL playoffs.  We also run through some possible permutations of the expected Big Ten expansion, and it wouldn’t be a week in the summer movie season without touching on the current top-grossing film, Iron Man 2.

As always, thanks for listening.
